Canada Green started
up eighteen years ago as grower of ornamental evergreens.
We built our first greenhouse 1992,
and six years later our nursery grew up to seven greenhouses, all
dedicated to producing plants for our garden center in Saint George.
We grow annuals, perennials, containerized
ornamental shrubs, shade and fruit trees, and the widest variety of hardy
roses.
We take pride in growing crops that no one
else in the Maritimes has tried commercially. In 1997 we became the only
commercial greenhouse operation in the Maritimes that grows Orchids.
Most surprisingly in 1998 we learned that
we were the only commercial greenhouse in New Brunswick that grew English
cucumber.
From English cucumbers to orchids we enjoy
the challenge and joy of growing.
Our mission
statement describes what drove our nursery's course over the past
years. We aim to carry on with these principles for the future.
